I discovered this about 6 weeks ago but I just got around to taking an appropriate picture right now, just in time for us all to start on some holiday baking!
The next time you go in there, you’ll definitely notice how chilly it is compared to the rest of the house. Now look at all the closet space in your house.
You’ll realize that you’re saving a ton by not heating all that extra space for no reason!I’ll definitely be keeping all of my closet doors closed this Winter.OK, so you know how much I love DIY.And you know how much I love to encourage and empower people to try things out for themselves and expand their home improvement capabilities.
I definitely go all “DIY cheerleader” on you around here from time to time.Sometimes though, you really need to know your comfort level and where your limitations are.
Like with electrical work!
Sure, changing out a basic light fixture is really simple and a great DIY if you follow safety procedures, but let’s not all go trying to re-wire our entire homes without a little help.. Not only will you probably end up making a mess of it, a big job like that can be downright dangerous! The images above are the early stages of our back mudroom update which, after a. few changes.
along the way, is now complete:.Our New Back Hall Mud Room Area.
Tearing the back hall “storage area” apart has led there to be what some might see as mess and chaos in other parts of the house now.And by “some” I mean me.
